vrs windows - extanded warranty

Featured Replies

It seems to be the season for poorly windows. My wife reported the drivers side not responding at all to the oone shot up and down and creeping up in mm goes and then getting so far and dropping back down. It took 30mins to close the window.

The car is under skoda extended warranty so its booked in (in 3 weeks time!) but they are querying whether it will be covered. Can anyone tell me where to find the inclusions and exclusions for estra 2 weeks. Has anyone had window related electrics refused under the warranty?

Thanks

Might sound odd but make sure glass is clean and not covered in sap. Also, same for the rubber strips. This can make the glass "Stick" to the rubber strips, pulling them until the window cuts out or goes into the function where the windows wind down again to prevent someone getting trapped accidentally.

I'll have a look but I'm not aware they are that dirty. Thanks
