Could an existing  (uk spec) Kodiaq owner with the Columbus System confirm that when the Map Screen is displayed , does it show the relevant Mph  as it does on my current Superb Columbus system ?.

If it does display say   60 mph, then there is no need to opt for "travel assist " unless the same display is desirable on the center instrument trip computer panel as well.

BUT those speed limits are read from the map data, which is at least a year out of date.

 

Travel Assist is Road Sign Recognition - so the Lane Assist Camera reads the actual road signs and overrides the embedded map data.

 

If it can't see any road signs, it falls back to the map data.
