Engine management, abs, traction control, tyre pressure warning lights

Featured Replies

Hi lads and ladies,

I have a 2011 Octavia VRS

The other day i got an engine management light on, that i got Skoda garage to check. They reset the light and said it could be a low voltage battery that cause it.

Now when the car is left parked for a few hours and i start it, i get the ABS, Traction Control and Tyre Pressure warning lights on the dash, with 2 or 3 loud and long beeps. After maybe 30 to 60 seconds all the light go off themselves.

This morning the engine management light came back on.

Anyone know what is causing all this.... i was told possible ABS Pump Sensor failing

So did you change the battery?

No i didn't, i don't believe there is anything wrong with the battery!

What was the first fault they cleared that they  thought was voltage related?

First fault was the O2 Sensor as well.

So looks like i need an O2 Sensor and a ABS sensor....
