Ambient lighting question from new owner

Featured Replies

Hi, just obtained a Octavia vrs FL estate and love it. Quick question... does the ambient lighting function come as standard? (The option that enables to change colour on door strips?) I can't see the option in the menu so presume it's a added extra?

Cheers

I would assume something like this would be an option even on the higher spec modules like the vRS.

I thought it was standard on the vrs, that's what the dealer told me when I looked around one last month. I hope they are as its something I'm expecting on mine when it arrives!!!

I got a standard VRS and the ambient lighting colour thingy is included. Option in the settings.. foot well is just normal light, doors and rears appear to be colour changing - also changes the colour of the background of the radio..

Thanks for replying... I don't see it in the options in the settings. Can you advise how u get to it in the options? I presume under lighting but I only have setting for brightness.

Cheers

its car > settings > background lighting , this brings up a colour pallet, and options of which lights the change colour.
