Air con compresser receiving no power! help please

Featured Replies

Well great site and hopefully i can get some advice here, I recently brought a fabia 3 MKII, 1.9 PD TDI with climatic,  when i turn the key the climatic screen flashes for a little while which i believe is to tell me there is a fault, I took to local garage for gas top up which i thought was the problem but no!  the aircon will not fire up the compressor,

i tryed the fault finder i saw on you tube and got fault code 382 02, which i read is the compressor ,, so i then test the plug that is attached to the compresser and it has no power at all ,, so i have tested the fuses and they are all ok, it seems the power is lost between the control and the compressor,, , does anyone know where the aircon pressure sensor it??  as it maybe that this is the problem??  or any advice where/what i should do?  I am dissapointed as it would be nice to have the aircon on now with summer here ,, i have no idea where to check the wiring ?

The car is 2007 , this is very frustrating as i have tried hard to follow the wire from compressor to battery but cannot see to much as only looking from open bonnet, i have had the system regassed and no leaks, throw money away doing that as it was fine before ,, and good i checked the electric feed as i was about to buy new compresser!  i am sure i have broken wire some where or pressure sensor? whats that and anyone know where located?

thanks

Ohh i also have the parking assistance not working!   would this be linked?  i put in reverse and the car beeps then it disspears from screen and the parking assistant not there anymore?!

Not sure if this helps much but until someone more knowledgeable comes along with a definitive answer.

I think it is possible that the air con may have a relay?

I do not have a wiring diagram unfortunately.

For the pressure switch, I would be looking near the condenser at the front behind the grill, that's where it is on wife's Nissan under the drier.
