Yours sounds nice too, I looked at the Superb but just a bit big for what I need, lovely inside though.

Yeah, there is no issue with space in the Superb and it's comfy and relaxed on the road.  I've had a few Octavias before and love them and they are certainly not short on space either.  Our other car is an Octavia and I drive that whenever I can (or whenever I'm let drive it ;)).
