I have just changed my mobile phone from iPhone 4s to an iPhone SE.  It will not pair with my car.  

 

Apparently, the technology in the new phone is based on an iPhone 6 or 6s and I have noted reports of others having difficulties.

 

has any one on the forum suffered with this and manage do find a solution?

My iPhone 6+ worked faultlessly (as does the 7+)

My iPhone 6 also connected, although I think it took a few attempts. 

Won't pair as in the car can't find it or it can't complete the connection process?  

All sorted, thanks to a friend who understands these things.  Something to do with codes.
