Good news / bad news for my MY18 Superb

Featured Replies

Hi folks,

My next company car will be a Superb.  Not something to get the pulse racing, a Greenline SEL Exec with a few extras as I need something frugal and my employer has a very limited choice list these days.

Anyway, I was told today that my car is at the PDI centre ahead of schedule.  Great news! However, because the end of the month is approaching there is no way they can deliver it to me before August.  That is fine with me, but then the lease company (Inchcape) have a policy of not registering / delivering cars in the month before the new registration.  This is a tad inconvenient as I had planned a trip to Slovenia late August in my new steed!

So, my new car is sitting a couple of hours away from me and the earliest I can get it is in about 6 weeks time when I get back from my road trip in my current Golf.  A bit of a first world problem, but I suppose it means I have something to look forward to.

Happy motoring! :)

Matt

Surprises me, i've had tow cars in the past with late august dates on lease
