Just started getting the apparently common issue of the immobiliser stopping the engine. Had it about 4 years ago but started using the other key instead and didn't start happening again until recently.

 

Decided rather than try replacing the wire between the ignition coil and dash panel to replace the ECU with one with the immobiliser defeated. However the light still flashes on the dash. Any way to stop it?
