Wiper return when engine off

Featured Replies

Hi all

facing a proper 1st world problem when I have the wipers on and then turn the engine off the wipers will stop dead in their tracks and stay put where they are

before getting the spaceback I had an Hyundai i20 new gen and if I was to kill the engine the wipers would return to their resting position without needing to fully align the stalk in the off position

is it at all possible to do this with the spaceback I have a feeling the answer will be no or it would require something like the auto wipers etc

cheers

It's been activated on my Octavia 230. I have a rain sensor? auto wipers but don't know if thats required, done with a VCDS

It's called Auto Park

Thanks Auric

i dont have the rain sensor in my rapid unless its their but just not activated or something, i might have to look into the vcds

cheers

My 2016 Rapid and even my 2016 Superb do the same thing... leaving the wipers mid stroke...  Coding / design power issue to the wiper motors...

Never had the issue with previous BMW or Audis... as you say.. 1st world but annoying problem !
