Extended Warranty

Featured Replies

Hi guys

Had the extended warranty offer on the Fabia, mine comes in at £205 all component cover for another year. It the official Skoda one.

Going by some of the noises i hear from the engine bay at times I'm thinking it would be a good idea, but as usual with these things is anything really covered when it comes down to it?

Wondered what other peoples experience has been.

Also does anyone know where the IAT, intake air temperature sensor is on the 1.2 petrol 105PS.

It comes up in the DTC's which i checked as I've had a rough idle problem at times over the last few months. Doesn't happen so much at the moment as outside temperatures are up.

Wonder if that's covered under the warranty....

Cheers

Had my renewal through this morning, for all components and £0 excess last year I paid £251, this year it's down to £179, happy with that :-)

Its worth the extra cost i think, you've only got to get one thing go wrong and its paid for itself.

I went for it anyway, i don't trust it!!

Breakdown cover seemed good, £145 for 2 years. Cheapest i got AA with relay was around £124 fixed price P/A for 2 years.

With the Skoda cover you seem to get more even though its still the AA....
