Seems like my seat controller has failed, Local dealer cant give me  a delivery time for new one.

 

I think part number is 500 959 250 B 200

 

Any ideas how long - why dont SUK have any in the country ?

Very common that only 'regular' failure components are kept in country with the rest held in vast warehouses nearer the factories.  BMW are the same and most of their spares are held in Germany now.  A few years back they relocated their parts warehouse and misplaced two entire trains of parts.  It caused mayhem for months.  Storage space in the UK is very expensive.

 

I am surprised that such a part was hard to get hold of though.....it's not as if they aren't still using them
