Hello,

 

I have a 2004 1.8t vrs and at the weekend the clutch suddenly started to slip followed by gearbox oil going everywhere!

 

I have sent this to my garage and have just had the report sheet back saying that it managed to shatter the bearing which has destroyed the clutch, clutch housing, flywheel and the gearbox meaning i need to replace all of these items.

 

Has anyone had a problem like this with there's and is there any upgrades you can do to these parts baring in mind that it is costing me well over 1500 for the work to be done as it is.

 

I haven't found anyone that has had this fault with there's where it has coursed this level of damage
