Office / Word Starter.

Featured Replies

Microsoft Office Starter accidentally got deleted from my machine (as i was having problems with another office click to run product, or something like that).

Anyway, is there any way i can get it back? It would be MOS 2010 i believe, which includes Word starter.

Word Starter is really all i used (I think) for writing / printing letters, CV's etc.

Cheers.

Personally, no idea, as I always have copies of my Office ( for events like this ), but possibly better posted in the Technology section . However if all else fails, there's a free version of a Windows compatible software

If you've got the license key there do appear to be places to download it again.

Failing that if you sign up to Outlook.com for free email you'll get access to a basic Word editor (not O365) and ditto with Google (Google Docs). If you don't need to do anything complex there are plenty of free packages out there.

I do use Outlook / hotmail, and have seen something about Google Docs. I will have to look into these and how to use.

No you can't edit anything with Acrobat Reader. It only lets you read pdf documents.

If you've any kids or anyone in the house works in a school or university you can sometimes get access to Office very cheap.

If you can download Office Professional Plus 2013 from somewhere I have a licence key.
I upgraded to Office Professional Plus 2016 as work were selling it at £20!

Can get you a licence for Office 2016 for £10 - we have an employee Home Use Programme.

FreeOffice or OpenOffice and I think WordPad has all the functionality you ask for.

You can get a full copy of Office 2016 on Ebay for £8.

That's a download & licence key and it lasts indefinitely. I know I bought one a while back. No issues.

Go on Ebay & enter Office 2016.
