Dear Friends,

 

I have recently had my Rapid's (2015 1.6 SE TDi ) NOx software update. Since then it has a louder diesel rattle, particularly at speed, a subtle shudder when I touch or release the accelerator and most disturbingly a reduction of power. I bought the car for its looks and seemingly effortless acceleration and I am annoyed with myself for allowing the 'upgrade'. I have since taken it back to the dealer Alex Lawrie in Liverpool who performed the update. One of the salesmen took it for a spin with me and found nothing wrong. I know my car and it is not the same. He also said that that they ran a data test and submitted to one of their departments and found nothing wrong. There are no warning lights when I drive her. Any suggestions?

You will have to have Skoda UK involved and rectify the fault now apparent. 

It will be VW Trained & Qualified Technicians that will be dealing with it not some Salespeople.
