Spanner warning!

Featured Replies

I noticed this morning when I started the car that I got a spanner symbol and "6900" appear on the dash! Do I need to panic?! Is it a warning of big bills to come?! I've recently had a cam belt/ water pump change and the oil changed! I wasn't expecting anything else on the horizon for awhile. I've just tried the code reader and it's not showing anything.Any one got any ideas?! Thanks!

its the service indicator. comes on when service interval is met so i think mileage related. If you've recently serviced it then it can be switched off using a sequence. I think its turn off ignition, hold knob turned to the right then switch on ignition for 10 seconds then release knob. try it. if not then it might be hold down the know then switch ignition on for 10 seconds. one of those should work
