Alarm sounder

Featured Replies

Hi all were is it thanks

It's in the drivers front wing.

Remove the wheel and arch liner, and you can see the bracket it's housed in.

You can't remove the bracket so to replace the siren you have to bend the bracket back, replace siren and then bend the bracket back into place.

Thank u for that

A was only asking because when a press the lock button on the key fob me car makes no beeping sound so a was thinking of checking that out first.

Cheers

It is more than just a sounder, it is the complete alarm unit including the alarm battery. It typically needs to be replaced every five or six years when the battery fails. Search on here as there are several threads on how to do it using replacements from China.

Aliexpress iirc. Genuine part as well. I'll post a link to a thread I joined in with. It's easy to do.
