Hi, ive had an error come up since the weekend, it did go out but now seems on for good.

 

It hasnt gone into limp mode and i havent managed to read the codes as yet.

 

I have attached a picture, any ideas or could it be any one of many things.

 

Its done 92k miles

My engine management light came on, ran okay till I could get the codes read, mine was throttle control unit. Cr 170 vrs 58 plate.

Loads of reasons for that light to come on, you really need to get it scanned

Does your car has maxidot display in the front in the center of the rev and speed clocks?

If yes then most obviously you can read the problem in the vehicle's status menu..

Until you get fault code read its a pointless post. 

It could be one of thousands of faults.

you can read codes in the maxidot??? this is news to me

In some occasions the vehicle's diagnostic system can show fault messages in through maxidot - But not always, it depends on the issue.

If no error messages then a diag tool required..
