Hi, I am a new owner of a 2015 Octavia scout. First impression is very positive. I have however today found a slightly odd issue with the factory fitted 13 pin towing electrics. Once fitted there is 1 error shown on the vehicle status mfd, it says "check l/h indicator " which I have done and it all works fine. Has anyone encountered any similar issues? Or do I just need to give the socket on both the car and van a good clean? Thanks in advance.

To answer my own question, I spoke to a chap at a motor spares shop, who advised me to change the indicator bulbs, including the caravan, on the side that was showing the fault, as the car is detecting a change in the resistance as a bulb ages and thinks it either has gone, or will do soon. I changed the van and rear cluster bulb, and the problem has gone.
