I have a small patch of rust coming on the offside rear wheel arch.

At present it looks fairly surface and is no more than 1-2 cm in size.

Whats the best way to sort this.

Depends how fussy and / or competent you are.

You can scrape it back as clean and as small as possible. apply rust converter then touch up paint over the top. take your time and you may be able to flat and polish the repair into the original paint.

 To spray it you really need to remove the clear stone chip sheet then paint and blend it keeping the repair as low as possible. then polish it when fully hardened. Then new clear sheet.
