Wrong Wheels :(

Featured Replies

Had a phone call from the car dealer to say my new Superb has been supplied with 18" Zenith Alloys and NOT the 18" Pegasus Alloys as ordered. Really upset as will have waited 17 weeks for delivery and to be told 10 days before collection that they have ordered the wrong ones has really made me angry. I've told them that is what I ordered and they accepted my order. What should I do now? I've asked them to swap them over and am now waiting a reply.

You do right in insisting in getting what you ordered. There **** up, they foot the bill.

I had the wrong wheels on my car also - I ordered the Sirius 19"and it turned up with the 18" Modus wheels - dealer was good and gave me the option of waiting what would have been a few weeks for the right wheels to turn up before accepting the car or taking the car with the Modus and then deciding if I wanted to swap once the Sirius wheels came in - which would have left them with used wheels/tyres. I decided to accept the car as I quite liked the Modus wheels and ended up getting a £650 refund for the difference in cost between the wheels and and extra £100 compensation.

I ordered the car with a extra set of steel wheels for winter tires (they insisted they will fit, and don't ask why I like steel) but they didn't actually fit (bigger brake disks). So they gave me 17'' alloys for free instead.

Of course, I had the 18'' alloys with summer tires so waiting wasn't a problem ...

Seems to be a common problem - I ordered Modus and the car turned up with Zenith...  Ended up with Pegasus Anthracite, which look very nice!
