Clunk/knocking sound

Featured Replies

When I turn my wheel just before full lock going right there's  a knock/clunk sound and the wheel seems to jump.. the front right wheel is sitting further forward than the front left?? Any body got any ideas !

Track rod ends I'm going to guess. If you can jack the front end up and try holding a wheel on either side and shake it side to side. Try both wheels. If it doesn't then my only other advice is take it to a garage to be checked professionally. Someone else might be able to shed some light on it more than me.

@Aaaaronthomas - I can't be certain because I can't inspect the car, but I'm thinking about the ball joints, the suspension arm bushes or, as @HWolfy suggests, maybe the track rod end.

It's the console bush, should be VERY obvious if you look.
