Octavia fast idle

Featured Replies

The problem so far...

- fast idle to 2000rpm.

- replaced battery

- replaced MAF and coolant sensor

- VAG-Com no fault codes yet engine still idles high?

Looked into the measuring blocks all seems normal for idling at 2000 except the following: -

- Block 002, 4 - 1000 - operating condition over run (Should be idle, any idea why this might be?)

- Block 005, 4 - intake air temp rose from around 20-57 but car just sat at idle. (Note new maf so shouldn't be a problem with that, is there another sensor or could it be the connectors, how could I check?)

- Block 012, 4 - Lambda probe voltage fluctuates from 0.1-0.85V - is this normal?

- Block 020, 4 - Lambda control operating condition 100010 which is restricted operating mode and lambda operating properly.

Everything else seems normal. I've tried disconnecting the maf and it idles at around 800rpm but I just bought a new one from Skoda so it shouldn't be this. Also, controller seems to know where it is because without the MAF it's position is around 4 degrees but with MAF it goes up to 7-8 degrees!

Help?!
