Felicia 1.9d AEF immobiliser troubles

Featured Replies

Morning all,

Been searching on Google and came across this forum so I've signed up.

I've got a 2000 X reg felicia pickup with the 1.9 diesel AEF engine.

The problem I'm up against is the pickup came with an engine from a car and the original engine had been scrapped. But the key and immobiliser gubbins from the donor car didn't come with it all. My question is.

Is there an aftermarket fuel stop solenoid available that just has a single 12v live to it? Or is there any other way round it? The pump has 2 stop solenoid looking things on it one on the front of the pump and one on the back. Someone has smashed the front one open obviously trying to find a single wire inside it. I'm not sure if that is a stop solenoid looking at the inside of it so I'm guessing it's the one down the back.

Any help appreciated.

My other idea was fitting a pump from another vw engine if any go on easily.

Cheers
