Is it normal to lose DAB signal/reception when you have the rear Windscreen demister/heater on?

 

Have a hatch and I believe the aerial is in the rear windscreen. Works fine without it on but as soon as it's on I lose all signal for it. FM/AM doesn't appear to be affected.

 

Have a month of warranty left so if it isn't normal I'll get it looked at. It's currently parked up at the dealers waiting to be looked at for other issues.

Mine as similar issue when the rear dash camera is on. I do not use it till recorded music used. Cant hear it at speed any way.

Not uncommon for aftermarket dash cams to cause this, usually it's down to cheap transformers creating RF interference. I don't expect it with factory fit kit though...
