Octavia vrs head unit newbie

Featured Replies

Hi guys

going to look at a Octavia vrs tdi today and if I buy it (if not I will buy a different one anyway) I would like to upgrade the headunit to one with a nav unit and Bluetooth etc am I best to buy a stock skoda unit or aftermarket?

Also anything to look for in particular when looking at the car? Obi will check history and make sure cam belt and water pump done etc?

thanks

thomas

The stock skoda nav upgrade is very expensive.  If you search around on the forums there are android replacements that people have done which fit straight in. You can also buy both official and aftermarket single din conversion covers for a normal aftermarket headunit.
