Amundsen + Bluetooth media connection problems

Hello Folks

 

I just picked up my 2014 Yeti Black Edition which came with the Amundsen + entertainment system.  The first few times I paired my phone (Galaxy S8+) it connected for calls but not for media.  After about 4 attempts it it finally picked the media connection up. when i tune the car off and on again it will only connect to the phone note the bluetooth media.  There are no other devices paired with the Amundsen.
