Amundsen Favourites

Featured Replies

Hi - I've done a few searches and not found the answer so hoping someone here will be able to advise.

I currently have a 2014 Octavia with Amundsen and I'm imminently due to take delivery of a new Superb with (I think) the same sat nav. Is there a way to copy the stored favourite locations between the two?

Many thanks

The new Superb Amundsen is not the same unit for starters. It's now an 8" screen with touch sensitive buttons plus two knobs (for volume, scrolling).

As for exporting favourites, what does the manual say? I don't think there's an option to export or import. Unless you have many, might be quicker to recreate.

Thanks for the reply - I wondered if there was a folder on the SD card with the locations saved that might be directly compatible. You're probably right in that it's as quick and easy to recreate.

I'd forgotten the Amundsen stored it's maps on the SD card rather than internal flash memory. Maybe there is a folder - have you tried the SD card in a PC card reader?

I had a bit of a look through but couldn't see anything that looked likely. Not to worry new Superb is to be delviered today so it will give me something to do programming them in!

Thanks again.

Thanks again.

You can program your destinations using the Skoda Connect App and send them to the car, getting this to work helps understand how the infotainment/wifi etc works another good mission of discovery with the new car

Enjoy the new purchase!
