Can anyone tell me how to remove the Gear **** (handle!! Head!! what else would you call it?) from an Octy vRS. I have tried twisting and stopped when i thought i was gonna break it. Is there something holding it on? or does it just not come off? If anyone has managed it please could you let me know.

In addition, I would like to colour code the trim around my car any suggestions to the best/easiest way.

Lift the console attached to the gaiter out (don't be scared it comes out easily).

Underneath the Gear k n o b ( ) there is a clip undo this and the bear k n o b will slide off
