My Citigo is due to be handed back soon. It's a black special edition which came with the portable Garmin Sat Nav. However, this was stolen last year. Just wondering if I will be charged for a new one when returning the car ?  

I suspect that if it was part of the original spec of that car then, it needs to be there....or you will be charged for it. Was it in the spec of the car or was it an option that you paid extra for?

It came as standard but it's a portable unit designed to be easily removed when not in use. The cover for it is now on the dash so you wouldn't know it wasn't there, unless you were specifically looking for it

You need to ask the finance company what their requirements are. I would send the car back with a used item from eBay forless than £100 rather than being charged £300+ by the finance company for a brand new one.

There will have been enough of these PCP returns by now for them to know EXACTLY what should come with the car....so they WILL be looking for it!

The idea of buying the cheapest used one is a good one...I'd be doing that.

Handily for you though, they are interchangeable amongst brands so it doesn’t matter if it’s from a Seat Mii/Ibiza, a VW Up!, or a Citigo, once plugged into the base it changes the display and colours to match the car it’s connceted to.

My spare was from a Seat Ibiza. It stayed as a Seat until I plugged it into a laptop with Fresh and reset it.

Thanks for your advice, much appreciated. Will pick one up on eBay in the next few weeks.

out of interest is the final payment not less than the cars actual value? Are you getting another car on PCP?
