Rear Screen Wash

Featured Replies

Just picked up my 07 FYI model a week ago. Just found that the rear screen wash doesn't work. The motor runs ok but no water from the nozzles. Common fault with easy fix? Does it use the same reservoir as the front?  The tank is full. Thank you

Should be FSI !!

IIRC it may be that the pipe in the boot has come adrift. Check for water under the spare tyre.

happens on a lot of them, check the nozzles aren't blocked, then trace the pipe work, sometimes it becomes blocked or comes apart at the joins

The end nozzle can get clogged. I did what someone else suggested on here and pull the nozzle end off with some pliers (wrap tape around them to stop them marking the nozzle). Soak the nozzle in white vinegar to clear. You will be able to check if this is the problem once you've removed the nozzle as you will be able to squirt water straight out.
