Hi folks.

 

After some advice, I've got a galaxy S8+ and I really do love it, I have a wireless fast charger at home which is superb and only cost £16 and I can pop my S8+ on with its case on onto it and it will charge it up in no time at all.

 

However I've been looking for a version for the car, must be a fast charger so it can keep up with Google Maps/Phone Navigation, plus any other apps that maybe running during the journey.

 

I've tried one the Auckly Qi Fast Wireless Charger on Amazon for £26, but had to return it as it had no USB charger with it (and a decent fast USB car charger such as Ankers will cost £16 on top), it wouldn't charge with any case on the phone, OK you may say isn't that being picky, Well no, because I want to keep the case on in case I drop it out of the door when I leave and with the case on the phone it helps reduce the chance of damage.

 

Anyway what I'm looking for is a decent quality Fast Wireless Charger for the car, which will charge a galaxy S8+ with a case on and when I say a case I have the Spigen Tough Armour case or for work a Shieldon S8+ Wallet which gives that little extra protection. It must have a windscreen attachment and must NOT screw into the cars interior.

 

If anyone knows of such a device can you tell where I can get it and for how much please.

No good for the car though. Already got one for the house.

 

It's the car one that I'm looking for.

If it's simply fast charging, then you should be able to get a fast USB charger which will run on turbo mode. 

 

 

I've got the Anker charger coming today, but I really want to get a wireless car charger holder to go with it so I can just drop the phone into it without having to remove the case from first and comply with the handsfree rules.

Assuming the S8 has type C, just remember that not all cables are type C standard compliant.  Some could fry your phone

I always buy Anker cables from Amazon. They're not cheap, but the quality is top notch and you know that with Anker that you're going to get the right standard.
