Hi all,

 

Sometimes the rear passenger door on the Octy won't lock, leaving the car possible to theft. Then, when it does lock, sometimes it doesn't unlock meaning passengers can't get in. I'm guessing it a solenoid or something inside the door. Is it easy to fix and any idea of cost?

It's a common problem. The usual solution is to replace the door lock (under £20 on eBay).

Thanks Tom. £20 sounds cheap, are they reliable do you know? I got a cheap thermostat from ebay, it lasted about 4 months.

I had similar issue last year spring & summer. Last Autumn battery expired. I havnt had any door locking issues since battery replacement.

 

Any chance you have a tired battery ?
