Hi chaps and lady-chaps

Featured Replies

Hey folks,

Name's Darryl. Long-time lurker-turned-member as I've finally decided to take the plunge, ditch my fire-damaged Vitara and treat myself to a new FL Octavia vRS, and figure that validates me becoming a Skoda forumite.

I'll no doubt be bugging some of you with questions, so I apologise in advance. This is my first Skoda and also my first car purchase worth more than £3k...

Welcome and well done on taking the plunge!  I don't think you'll regret it and it will be worlds apart from the Vitara.

Thanks! It was made a much easier decision when the Vitara caught fire...

But yeah, I'm looking forward to getting my paws on it. Just got to get myself through the long wait times associated with buying a new vRS. Still not been given a build week from the dealer...

welcome
