I'm having trouble with the interior boot lights not working. I know there are a few threads about this, I have read them but unfortunately I'm no further forward. As far as I'm aware the boot has never had water in it and the car knows the boot is open as the light on the dash comes on. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What kind of bulbs are you using? If they're LED bulbs, is the polarity right?

Just standard bulbs. I had them out today to check that they weren't blown. It looks like there is no power getting to them. 

Have you checked the relevant fuse?

Yeah I've checked fuse. It's not blown

I had the same problem, On mine they have resistors or something like that across one of the terminals, This had gone, so no current getting to the bulbs, took it out and replaced it with a piece of wire, now working. check to see if yours is the same, could be the fault.

There was resistors there. I will give this a go.

I got the lights to work. It turned out to be corrosion on the plug that's goes into the boot locking mechanism
