I have got a 2011 golf

that I have been told the oil has leaked between the mechatronic

and the transmission body the oil has leaked half way along the

undercarriage of the car and I have no drive

is it possible to remove the mechatronic without factory tools

replace the gasket refit  and refill

First what is the DSG, a 6 speed wet clutch or a 7 speed Twin Dry Clutch (DQ200), 

If the 2nd, a DQ200 has it had Service Campaign '34F7' to change the Synthetic Oil to mineral & do a software update?

If so or if due no matter it is out of Manufacturers Warranty have VW group sort it out.

 

If it is a 6 speed wet clutch DSG then sorry but o know nothing about them.
