If you have good power but as soon as you turn the key, either there is a problem with the starter (like short circuit) or perhaps there is a bad connection to ground.

I would also remove both terminals from the battery & check for oxidisation/white gunk behind.

This can easily build up when the terminal is not connected tight enough & will eventually cause issue like this. (I had this problem on my last Mondeo).

First, my apologies for poor English My home language is Estonian! 

 

I have Octavia 2016 mk3 1,6TDI and i have starting issues, only when engine is cold. If engine is warm, there's no problem and it start/work properly!

Looks like the 4's cylinder skips and after few seconds it suddenly working like nothing was happened?

Local Skoda service replaced 4'th cylinder injector, but actually nothing changed. They controlled also glow plugs and did software upgrade and official Skoda service report is, that everything is fine?

 

 I personally think that the mistake must be in the injector or in the glow plugs. It is possible that some sensor still does not work properly and gives incorrect information as if it was an external temperature is warm but really not and the glow plug does not work?

 

 

Did any of you find what id the problem with aour 1.6 tdi engine?
