I have just recently had the Timing belt + water pump changed on my 2010 Diesel VRS Octavia.

What i have since noticed is increased noise and vibration in the cabin especially when cold.

When doing this work are the engine mounts / exhaust system  worked on ?

 

where did you have it done ...if skoda sounds like they've done the emissions update

 

but not they shouldn't have worked on your exhaust system

No private garage so no emissions work done. Does this job involve removing any engine mounts. Going back many years Vw`s were quite sensitive to proper engine mount alignment ?
