Tyre pressure warning light on my Rapid

Featured Replies

Hi,

Hope you can help, the tyre pressure warning popped up when I was driving. I'd been driving for around 10 mins when it came on. I've checked the pressures and they all seem fine and there doesn't appear to be punctures. Car drives fine and all feels normal. Any advice?

Welcome to the forum.

When you say they all appear fine, were all 4 at the same pressures as when the TPMS was last set?

Just set the pressures, reset the TPMS and see if that is the end of warnings unless 1 or 2 tyres drop pressure. (The circumference of the tyre reduces.)

Thanks for replying so quickly.

No they weren't, driver side rear was a couple of PSI lower than the rest. I've inflated the tyres so they're at the correct pressure's according to the handbook. I've now left the car overnight and now I've reset the TPMS.

Thanks for your help

The car now has to log that properly once it drives a little and the circumference is stored by the ABS / ESP / Brain.

Nice one, I've got a bit of running about today anyway.

Thanks again.
