40K per year Superb driver

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I've had my Superb 130TDi 13 months from new. Well impressed so far. Just coming up to 45K. No issues except for front electric seat doesn't move ( fuse OK and passenger one is fine ) - not a problem as only I drive it ( hopefully when I take it in for the third service at 66K they cannot fix it and I get a new seat as it should be a little worn by then.

Mostly motorways, cruise control helps keep me at close to speed limit and out of trouble - get 58 mpg overall which is good due to mileage I cover.

Always like to rub it in when common rail TDI owners ( Mondeo, vectra, avensis ) boast about 50mpg !!!

Best regards

Welcome to Briskoda and nice to hear that you really like your car. :D

Hey hey.

Just one point , but make sure that they are aware of the fault and have it recorded before the warranty runs out at 60k

No problem, I will be in for the third 66K service at about 18 months old so still in the 2 years UL mileage warranty.

I have taken your advice though and informed the garage so that it is already noted - just in case they argue about it later.

Thanks

Eliott
