My fiancee has a 2001 fabia 1.4 16v. The power steering has failed but with no warning light, and checking the fluid level it doesn't seem to be reaching the dipstick. It says CHF 11S on the cap, can I replenish it with the Halfords product linked below? It says suitable for CHF 11S but doesn't mention power steering in the uses.

Short of someone coming along with specific information for this model, here is what is suggested by the Octavia service manual of the same era:

 

Denomination of the hydraulic oil:
TL 52 146
N 052 146 00
Part No.: G 002 000
(e.g. PENTOSIN CHF 11S)

 

CHF 11S seems to be the right one and I'm not be surprised if this is fine for you, as long as this is the fluid type suggested for your car.
