Rear seat belt snagging under plastic runner

Featured Replies

Anyone else having an issue with the REAR seatbelt snagging on its plastic runner at the top of the seat (passenger side)?  More often than not the belt slides off onto the seat fabric and snags under the plastic piece it is meant to slide over. So it will not retract. Not a deal breaker but annoying none the less.

2016 Hatch.

Cheers.

Yes, I often have to get out the car and assist my 10 year old with rerouting the seatbelt.  AND yes, he sits on the passenger (left) side of the car.  My 6 year old doesn't have the same issue but he uses and ISOFIX booster chair still and that has a seat belt guide which will probably stop the belt from being caught under the cars own plastic guide/runner.

Cheers Penguin. So I am not going mad then!  The car is being serviced tomorrow so will mention it, maybe there is a fix available for it.

Car serviced today.  They didn't have a fix for the seat belt issue but I reckon a small bit of strategically placed tape will solve it.

Also switched from the 30k service interval to the 15K.  Hate long service intervals.

Declined the free wash and hoover as in my experience that standard is very poor, more chance of paint damage than anything else.

Impressed with Skodas new showroom design and customer areas, very comfortable.
