DSG Clutch Replacement

Morning folks.

So my 60 plate VRS is coming up to 80k soon, and I’ve noticed over the past few thousand or so miles that a judder in second is more obvious.

I know a normal manual gearbox can start to need a clutch replacement sometimes through general wear and tear and it’s age, so I’m wondering if that what mine could be.

I do have the front end all powerflex bushed so I get that it might accentuate the vibration more.

My car apparently doesn’t need any gearbox mod/recall etc on the Skoda website, so am I looking at this to be done?

Is there any updated stuff out there for this DSG box, seem as I’ll be doing some more Sprints and Trackdays next year.

Cheers

Are they the ones from Greece? If so, they won't be covered by any warranty, apart from that of the company that makes them. I have seen them (if it is the same ones) and they are advertised as LuK original parts - except they aren't. The company are buying the kits, then relining them with the Kevlar, which instantly invalidates any warranty with LuK themselves, plus the added issue of them not being a UK based company. Also, if they haven't got the linings correct to specification (thickness for example) then you would never get the correct preload settings on the releasers and the plates, leading to additional problems.
