EPS light flasing with brake lights not getting off

Featured Replies

I was travelling to Manchester today morning when the EPC light startted to glash on the dashboard.  I continhed to drive as had no problems. When i got down from tge car i noticed that brake lights are not turning lff even after switching off the car. I have a 1.2 skoda fabia sports, petrol.  50,000 miles on the  clock. Is it a mojor or minor  issue? I need to go back to Wolverhampton tonight,  will it be safe if i drive it back and get it corrected there?

You need a new brake light switch. Until you fit one, your brake lights will not work reliably.

There's a good 'how to' thread somewhere in this section; if you want to have a go yourself. Buy a genuine replacement, only about £11 or so.
