Hi all,

I followed the instructions on here religiously for updating the Amundsen maps. 99% of the way through unpacking the files on to the SD card, I got an error - Unexpected Handling Error. I clicked continue and it’s stuck unpacking the Turkey-v1.spb file. Any ideas? Should I click cancel

and start again? It’s a long process though.

 

I did did make a back up of the original files.

I unzipped the compressed maps onto my desktop, then deleted the maps folder from the SD card (after copying it), before copying the extracted maps folder onto the SD card. Works fine in my MIB2 Amundsen.

Did you want the Eastern Europe set or the Western Europe Set? Turkey wouldn't be in the map set I would use in the UK?

I tend to unzip the files somewhere onto my computer 1st, then delete some of the files for countries, like Turkey!, that I'll not be going to anytime soon, then cut and paste the files onto the SD card, and I've never had a problem
