I have a 2015 Octavia Scout with a personalised plate.  The car has very nice 17 inch alloys.  I saved my 15" winter tyres from my old Yeti.  If I get the right 5 point alloys will they fit the Octavia?

You need to check the front brake caliper clearance really

 

Have you got over an inch of clearance now with the 17's on?

I think they are ok and were fitted by a dealer - car was used as a demonstrator. The current tyres are from memory 225/50 17 inch Pirrellis  The Winter tyres I have a 16 inch Yokohamas 215 /60R / 16 994. 

I don't think you can put smaller then 16" on a Scout.
