Hi All

 

Quick Question...

 

One of our boot struts went some time ago, so I got a replacement pair.

 

Sadly, when we went to put them on we discovered that in locking up the old one had warped the 'bit' in the body that the strut clips on to.

 

I've been grumbling at husband for months to actually call in to the local garage, who we asked 3 months ago to get the 'bit' for us. I've finally given up - if I hear 'I banged my head again' I'm gonna beat him with a boot strut!

 

Anyway, my sole problem is I don't know what the 'bit' is called to google for it.

 

Can anyone advise while I still have a little sanity left?
