When I put my Fabia in reverse is it only the left hand side( it's a right hand) supposed to light up or do I have a bulb out on the right???

1 white rear bulb only.  to have 2 is rare these days on any car

Once you have had 2  you do feel something is wrong with only 1, dont think ive seen fabias with 2 tho since the MK1?

Usually, budget vehicles provide 1 reverse, 1 rear fog to comply with construction and use laws... More then that is higher manufacturing cost so higher purchase price. I used to own a Mercedes 190E which had 2 reverse and 1 fog on the right, despite the euro versions having the reverse on the left. I looked inside the left light cluster and it had all the wiring needed for a second fog but had a small plastic "Bar" blocking the bulbs access into the light cluster. I tried a bulb in the fitment nd it did indeed work so I snapped out the little plastic bar and had a matching set of fog lights to the rear. I guess a few owners discovered this but more were either unaware or too lazy/not bothered to do such a simple procedure. Seems a stupid thing to put the block in but it might just be to comply with MOT standards... The bulb is not just "Missing" so as to cause a fail!

In truth, Ive been too lazy to look at the Fabia but I think they only have placement for one of each as one side has clear, the other has red lenses.
