Kmh to Mph maxidot/trip computer?

Featured Replies

Hello everyone.

First post, bought a Skoda Octavia VRS MK2 today. Absolutely love it. One small issue and I gather this has been discussed before but I am not sure where to look...

I would like the maxidot/computer to show MPG and not Kmh. I have gone through all the settings and cannot see a change. I think I read somewhere you can actually get the MPH to show as a big display in the center of the maxidot, even if I can just replace the current Kmh I would be happy enough but the big display would be amazing! I have also read it may be able to be done using some software but I do not know anybody who would have the software local to Coventry, West Midlands.

I will probably have many questions regarding other things but this is the most important one for me so far.

Thanks for any replies :)

You need VCDS to change the country setting from UK to Australia. This will allow the large MPH page on the maxidot.  If you're ever near Newcastle upon Tyne, give me a shout.  Otherwise, there are loads of members on here with it.

Hi, appreciate the reply. Unfortunately I have no chance of ever being anywhere near Newcastle!

If anybody is local ish to Coventry, West Midlands please give me a message and I will sort something out with you :)

Probably best to look at the VCDS owners / locations / names and PM someone direct.

Thank you, I will look at doing that :)

You might regret that when i come calling!

Welcome any time mate.  I'm no VCDS pro, but know my way around it enough to do coding/adaptations. I've helped a few guys out getting options set on their Yetis, so if you want/need anything coding, or even just a scan/error log, just give me a shout via PM.
