"DPF no smoke" is a good thing, they tend to put it down as an advisory to confirm all is OK.

The Scout PD140 engine is an 8 valve SOHC as opposed to the rest of the PD140 range which are 16V DOHC. The 8V SOHC variant in the Scout is well known to be better suited to the DPF which means the Scout rarely suffers from DPF issues, even at higher mileage.

It looks a great buy!

hi all as you can see by the date on the first post i put the scout up for sale end of last year but i dident  really want to sell.

And we had a bad winter so i enjoyed driving in the snow. But now i need to sell as i have to many cars at the moment.

All previous mot advisorys  have been done mileage will be slightly higher but will update later,

its been a great car will be sad to see it go £ 3500 ono
